I met Zoe from Chester Place lettings agent when I needed to find a property to rent very quickly after being given one month's notice by my existing landlady who had decided to sell the house my husband and I were living in at the time.

I had contacted letting agents all over the city but Zoe's friendliness, staunchly pro tenant attitude, and sensitivity, not only to my needs as a wheelchair user, but to my tastes and personal preferences in terms of the features and character I was looking for, stood out a head and shoulders above everyone else. She found me a place I loved at a price I could afford and I rapidly came to see her as a friend.

I was having a really, really bad time with a letting agent that was looking after a bungalow for me. They had let me down by not checking the tenant’s references, background checks, and everything else that they should have done for me. It ended up with my tenant doing a moonlight flit, me losing a lot of money and I was without a letting agent.

I was recommended to Zoe at Chester Place Lettings Agent by a friend of a friend, and I am very glad I decided to allow her to manage my property. She is pleasant, polite, friendly, approachable with a very professional attitude.

When I contacted Zoe I had found tenants to fill the house, but I wanted the property managed just in case there were any problems. I have to say that during the year the tenants were in situ I did question whether I needed the property management, as nothing untoward seems to happen! Well....... famous last words, I am so glad I stayed with Zoe.

The tenants vacated my property after a year and there was quite a lot of remedial work that needed to be done in order to let the property again. Zoe was amazing, she arranged for cleaners, a carpet fitter, gardener and D.I.Y man as soon as the tenants had vacated.

The tenants moved out and two weeks later, subject to reference checks, we have new tenants wanting to move in at the end of the month. I think that says it all!

Without Zoe’s exceptional organisational skills, and her excellent commitment to me, her client, I would still be trying to get the work done and would have lost a considerable amount of rental income.
